Friends & Family
For several Sundays in October and November 2010, we had our camera out to take portraits of our Christian Assembly volunteers and the friends that we've met in our Skid Row and Home Depot ministries. Although we have a lot of photos which are shared here, this is just a small portion of what we call our ministry friends and family. Some of our friends declined to be photographed. Others just were not there on the Sundays we were photographing, and others are never present in person but are part of our prayer and virtual groups.
We took these photos and gathered first names to go with them as a way to help us to be more intentional about learning everyone's names. Although God knows every hair on our head, many of us humans have a hard time just remembering names. It has been a joy to take and catalog the photos and remember and pray for each person by name.
